2008 Hawaii – Waikiki area

My hotel is situated behind the twin Hyatt Tower Hotel seen in the background.

Man made structure leaves the water near the shore calm and a nice swimming area.

The park area is between the hotel area and Diamond Head. Easy access to and from either area.

A wide variety of shops along the beach front.

Near the Zoo entrance there is a weekly market set up in the park area.

The entrance to the Zoo is behind me.

Near the international market place.

Many homeless people in the area.

The shopping center is a short bus ride or within walking distance from the Waikiki area.

This hotel is right along the main beach in Waikiki and across the street from my hotel. It was a perfect place to go for a little relaxation.
