2008 Hawaii – Pearl Harbour

It's a short ride over to this memorial site.

The boat is docking at the memorial site.

We have about 20 minutes to look around before the boat leaves back to shore.

The battleship seen from the memorial site will be another stop along this tour.

The names of all the people that died when the U.S.S. Arizona was destroyed in Pearl Harbour. The monument is built over top of the ruins of the ship. The U.S.S. Arizona is still in the same position after its sinking on December 7th, 1941.

Our boat is heading back to shore after our visit of the memorial site.

The submarine seen in the background will be another stop on today's tour.

As slowly come into shore another boat is loaded and on its way over to the memorial site.

We have a chance to walk around the interpretive center near the boat launch.

From the Interpretive Center, you can see the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial site that we visited and the battleship behind it. The battleship is docked and set up for tourists to visit and see the history.

Inside the center. There are many pictures and other memorabilia to see.

We start our tour of the U.S.S. Bowfin Submarine that is set up by the Interpretive Center for easy access.

Our last stop on this tour is the U.S.S. Missouri Battleship. This ship is no longer in active use but now used as a tourist attraction.
